March 25, 2016:
FORMER 7-11 ON WEST ATHERTON ROAD IN FLINT SOLD
FLINT, MICH. – Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the Seller in the sale of the former 7-11 on the southeast corner of West Atherton and Hammerberg Roads in Flint. The 2,640 SF building sold in mid-March to a local operator who will continue to run a convenience store from the building.

FORMER RESTAURANT ON FORD ROAD IN GARDEN CITY SOLD
GARDEN CITY, MICH. – Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the Seller in the sale of the former Picasso Restaurant on the northwest quadrant of Ford and Middlebelt Roads in Garden City. The 2,500 SF building sold in late February to a local investor; the sale closed in 30 days from the date Gerdom Realty began marketing the property.

CAPTAIN JAY’S FISH AND CHICKEN BUYS FORMER PIZZA HUT BUILDING IN DETROIT
DETROIT, MICH. – Captain Jay’s Fish and Chicken closed on the 2,654 SF former Pizza Hut building at the northwest corner of West 7 Mile Road and M-10/Lodge Freeway in mid-February. Tjader Gerdom and Larry Siedell of Gerdom Realty & Investment, along with DJM Real Estate, represented the seller in the transaction. Greg Newman of Keystone Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer.
February 24, 2016:
MOTOR CITY CO-OP CREDIT UNION BUYS BUILDING FOR NEW ROSEVILLE LOCATION
Roseville, MICH. – Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty represented Motor City Co-Op Credit Union in the purchase of the 5,435 SF, former Big Jacks BBQ Restaurant on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville. This will be the fifth location for Motor City Co-Op. Motor City Co-op started in Detroit in 1948 and conveniently has 5,000 shared locations and over 30,000 shared ATMs to serve its members. Steve Goren of Armada Real Estate represented the seller in the deal.
January 19, 2016:
HUNTINGTON BANK SIGNS LEASE IN TAYLOR
TAYLOR, MICH. – Huntington Bank signed a lease in early January for a new location on Telegraph Road. Huntington Bank will open in this former Verizon Wireless building in Spring of 2016. This is Huntington Bank’s second location in Taylor, after they recently opened a branch in the Pardee Road Meijer store. Tjader Gerdom and Vicki Gutowski of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the Huntington in the transaction.
January 12, 2016:
THE LYON THEATRE HAS BEEN SOLD
SOUTH LYON, MICH. – This 1-screen, 178 seat theatre on East Lake Street was sold early December 2015. Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the ownership and procured the buyer in the sale of this downtown theatre. Both the theatre and lobby were renovated between 2009 and 2013, and the theatre was fully converted to digital movie presentation with 3D capability. The new owner plans to continue operate as a movie theatre and live performance venue.
