BULLFROG’S BAR AND GRILL OF ORTONVILLE SOLD
ORTONVILLE, MICH – Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty, in cooperation with Mike Vaugh of Empire Business Brokers represented the seller in the sale of Ortonville’s Bullfrog’s Bar and Grill. The 4,758 SF operating Bar and Grill on Ortonville Road was sold in the first half of 2017. The sale included the business and the real estate. The new owners plan to continue operations of the 370-seat venue.



 
JASON’S BAR LEASES SPACE IN THOMASVILLE CENTER IN NOVI
NOVI, MICH – New restaurant coming to the Thomasville Center on Grand River in Novi. Jason’s Bar has leased 5,130 Square Feet and is targeted to open this summer. Joel Karboske, of Gerdom Realty & Investment, represented the landlord.



 
3RD DEAL MADE IN COMMERCE TWP. AREA IN LESS THAN 1 MONTH!
T-MOBILE SIGNS LEASE AT COMMERCE VILLAGE PLAZA

COMMERCE TWP., MICH. – In early December 2016, T-Mobile signed a lease for the last remaining vacancy at Commerce Village Plaza on Union Lake Road, just south of Commerce Road. Michael Murphy and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty represented the landlord and procured the tenant for this 1,680 SF Lease. This is the 2nd tenant procured by Gerdom Realty at Commerce Village Plaza in the past 6 months: Whole Pets Food moved into the plaza this summer.

This deal is the 3rd deal made by the Gerdom Realty team of Michael Murphy and Tjader Gerdom in the Commerce Township area in less than one month- In November, the team sold the former KFC building at Maple Road and Pontiac Trail to Tubby’s Grilled Submarines and sold the 19,798 SF building at Ladd and Maple Roads to Embassy Covenant Church International.



 
FORMER KFC BUILDING SOLD TO TUBBY’S SUBS
WALLED LAKE, MICH. – Michael Murphy and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the seller in the sale of the 2,633 SF former KFC property on Pontiac Trail, just north of Maple Road. The freestanding building, that sits on 0.56 Acres, sold in mid-November to a Metro-Detroit Tubby’s franchisee. Tubby’s is expected to open 1st quarter of 2017.



 
19,798 SF WALLED LAKE OFFICE BUILDING SOLD TO CHURCH
WALLED LAKE, MICH. – Michael Murphy and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the seller in the sale of a 19,798 SF Ladd Road office building. The freestanding office building, located just south of Maple Road, that sits on 4.11 Acres sold in mid-November to a Metro-Detroit area church.



 
MY SALON SUITE SIGNS LEASE IN NORTHVILLE
NORTHVILLE, MICH. – Gerdom Realty & Investment recently signed a lease with My Salon Suite in Downtown Northville on the southeast corner of Main Street & South Wing Street in 4,200 square feet (formerly Spinergy Fitness & antique store). Opening is slated for the first quarter 2017. My Salon Suite brings together a collection of salon, spa and skin care in one luxurious location with highly qualified professionals.



 
TWO SINGLE-TENANT NNN INVESTMENT RESTAURANTS SOLD
CANTON AND SAGINAW, MICH. - Tjader Gerdom and Larry Siedell of Gerdom Realty and Investment (Novi, MI) represented both the buyer and seller in the sale of two operating NNN restaurants. Both locations, Canton and Saginaw, are freestanding, full service, casual dining restaurants at approximately 7,000 SF each. A metro-Detroit based private investor bought the restaurants as a package deal in August.



 
DOWNTOWN SOUTH LYON BUILDING LEASED TO HAIR SALON
SOUTH LYON, MICH. -A new hair salon signed a lease in late August at the former Craft Worx building on East Lake Street in the heart of downtown South Lyon. Nita Alexa Studio plans to open mid-November 2016 and will occupy the entire first floor of the building, 2,702 SF. Michael Murphy and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the landlord and procured the tenant in the lease.



 
ART VAN PURE SLEEP SIGNS LEASE FOR NEW LOCATION IN TAYLOR’S EUREKA PLAZA
TAYLOR, MICH. – Art Van Pure Sleep signed a lease in late March for a new downriver location at the southeast corner of Eureka Road and Pardee Road, across from the Southland Center Mall. This new store is opening in the 4,000 sq. ft. former O’Samurai Japanese Steakhouse. O’Samurai will be opening in their new, larger store a block away, adjacent to the new Panera Bread. Eureka Plaza was listed by Tjader Gerdom and Larry Siedell of Gerdom Realty & Investment. The new Pure Sleep is anticipated to open in the summer of 2015.



 
HISTORICAL VASSAR THEATRE HAS BEEN SOLD
VASSAR, MICH. – Originally constructed in 1937 and restored in 2005, this 1-screen, 371 seat movie theater closed it’s doors this year after its owner passed away. Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the seller’s estate and procured the buyer in the sale of this downtown theater. With over 30 years of working in the film industry, the new owner, Andreas Fuchs of Creative Cinema who is a theatrical exhibition consultant and analyst/reporter, hopes to bring new life to the theatre on Huron Avenue. The Vasssar Theatre (which was fully converted to digital movie presentation in 2013) will be opening for business again in 2015.



 
FREESTANDING OFFICE BUILDING SOLD TO EXPANDING DENTAL PRACTICE
SOUTHFIELD, MICH. –Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the seller (a private owner) and procured the buyer of a freestanding office building in Southfield, MI. The 3,400 SF, 2-story office building on W. 10 Mile Rd., east of Evergreen Road was sold in mid-December 2014 to an nearby dental practice looking to expand.



 
AT&T OPENS NEW LOCATION IN PICKARD SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER
MOUNT PLEASANT, MICH. – Larry Siedell and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom Realty and Investment represented the Landlord and Steve Millman, of Northstar Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant in securing 1,920 sq. ft. for AT&T in Pickard, on Pickard Road, in Mount Pleasant. Pickard Square shopping center is just east of Mission Street in front of the Meijer store. This will be the second AT&T location in Mount Pleasant.



 
BIGGBY COFFEE SIGNS LEASE FOR NEW LOCATION IN MADISON HEIGHTS
MADISON HEIGHTS, MICH. – Biggby Coffee signed a lease in November for a second Madison Heights location to be located on 11 Mile Road, between I-75 and John R Road. This new store is opening in the 2,071 sq. ft. former Albert’s Coney Island. Tjader Gerdom and Mike Vaughn of Gerdom Realty & Investment procured the transaction. The new Biggby will have a drive-thru and an anticipated spring 2015 opening.



 
Great Expressions Dental - 4 Leases in Michigan
Gerdom Realty, in conjunction with Land Qwest of FL., has recently finalized 4 leases for GEDC ranging from 2400 – 3000 sq. ft. in Southfield and Rochester Hills for both orthodontics locations as well as general practice. The stores will be opening between 2nd and 3rd quarter 2012. GEDC is continuing to expand throughout metro Detroit as well as Atlanta, GA and metropolitan areas of Florida.



 
GamePlay - Seven Locations Secured in Michigan
Gerdom Realty & Investment has secured 7 locations for Michigan based GamePlay, a retail store selling new and used video game consoles, games and related merchandise to the end user. New Michigan locations were opened in late 2011 and early 2012 in Westland, Redford, Livonia, Allen Park, Dearborn, Lincoln Park and Sterling Heights. The company is franchising and is expanding in 2012.

Advance Auto Parts
Gerdom Realty & Investment has recently completed 3 transactions on behalf of Advance Auto Parts (AAP), a leading retailer of automotive aftermarket parts. Tjader Gerdom represented AAP and secured a 6600 sq. ft. leased location on Grand River in East Lansing, MI (opening this month), a 7000 sq. ft. building leased location in Dearborn on Ford Road set to open 2nd quarter 2012, and purchased a site at Groesbeck & 13 Mile Roads in Fraser for a new freestanding store to be developed in 2012. AAP is continuing to grow in Michigan in 2012 and all site submissions should be sent to Gerdom Realty.
