Mr. Tjader T. S. Gerdom

Gerdom Realty is responsible for Tenant and Landlord representation, the buying and selling of commercial and investment properties, land assemblages, and development of commercial and residential vacant land. A representative list of past customers include; YUM! Brands, Family Video, Starbucks Coffee, Ramco Gershenson, Regency Centers, Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza, Aaron Rents, Walgreen's, CVS, Dunkin’ Donuts, Pancheros Mexican Grill, Pet Supplies Plus, Advance Auto Parts, and PNC Bank.

Tjader Gerdom is the principal of Gerdom Realty & Investment, and entered into the commercial real estate industry in 1997. Beginning a career at Schostak Brothers & Company, Inc. he worked closely with several experienced commercial retail brokers building service and sales skills while increasing his market knowledge. In 2001, Tjader joined Insite Commercial Group and was promoted to Vice President in 2002 where he directed the Commercial/Retail Team. Tjader joined Colliers as a Vice President as part of the merger with Insite Commercial Group in January 2006. In January of 2009, he launched Gerdom Realty & Investment, in order to adapt to the changing commercial marketplace to take advantage of the current weak economy to benefit his clients' investment needs. Tjader is a member of the Detroit Area Commercial Board of Realtors, Michigan Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Downriver Chamber of Commerce, ICSC, and has sat on the ICSC State Committee from 2009 to present.

  Mr. Larry Siedell
Mr. Larry Siedell

Larry started in the commercial real estate industry with Insite Commercial Group in 2003, during which time he obtained the skillsets necessary for finding opportunities and making commercial real estate transactions happen. This experience provided Larry with a spectrum of deals including the acquisition and disposition of commercial land and buildings, shopping center development and leasing as well as investment sales. In 2006 Larry joined The Velmeir Companies and spent five years expanding their national client into new markets, both organically and through competitor acquisition. The experiences with Velmeir provided Larry with a fundamental understanding of strategic market planning, plan execution and market penetration.

Primarily working with CVS/pharmacy, Larry started in Southeast Michigan and quickly expanded nationwide. Larry was instrumental in site identification, procurement, entitlement and construction management in over forty drug store transactions, from Washington DC, to Montana, and several other areas that are still confidential.

Larry was also a critical component during a technological advancement program which found great success by increasing efficiency, lowering cost and reducing environmental footprints. The program that Larry helped develop continues today to improve the way in which clients can analyze real estate quickly, efficiently and effectively. While Southeast Michigan has always been home, the experiences from the broad range of markets provide Larry with an ample amount of creativity and perspective that he brings to every project.

Joel started in the commercial real estate industry in 2003 after graduating from Aquinas College with First Commercial Realty & Development, specializing in representing retailers, landlords and developers in the sale and leasing of shopping centers, freestanding buildings, land assemblage, new development and redevelopment opportunities earning top sales awards each year. In 2007 Joel became a co-founding partner of Paramount Real Estate Services, where he was responsible for high profile tenant representation, land assemblage, site identification, purchase and lease negotiations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and South Carolina. Some of his clients include Walgreens, White Castle, Popeye’s Chicken, Dunkin Donuts, Murry Retail Group and Bacall Development. In 2016, Joel teamed up with Gerdom Realty & Investment and continues to approach every assignment with unparalleled experience and enthusiasm, ensuring that each client receives the highest quality of service. Joel is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Commercial Board of Realtors (CBOR), Officer of the Knights of Columbus (12408) and on the board of several local organizations.

Marlette is a retail leasing associate that specializes in Tenant and Landlord representation. She currently represents national and local retailers in site selection throughout the Metropolitan Detroit area, as well as western Michigan, and extensive experience in the leasing of ground up, retail projects.

Mike Vaughn started in the sales industry over 25 years ago his experience includes the brokering of Plastics, telecommunications, utilities and real estate. He currently has an Energy Consulting business that specializes in Gas and Electricity in all deregulated states. In 2014 He became an affiliate franchise owner of Empire Business Brokers an organization with over seventy (70) offices worldwide. Empire Business Brokers is a full service Business Solutions Company specializing in Business Brokerage, Franchise Sales & Development , Financial Brokering and Business Valuations.

As a Certified Business Broker Mike specializes in mergers and acquisitions of small to medium size businesses which may include the real estate. Mike spent the better part of ten years between 1999-2009 with Grubb and Ellis and Friedman Real Estate Group specializing in Industrial Sales. Brokering of Business now involves Retail, Office, and Industrial Real Estate.

Mr. David Shanaman

David Shanaman graduated from Michigan State University in 2003 with a B.A. in General Management from the Eli Broad College of Business. He has since worked in commercial real estate brokerage industry with Insite Commercial, Colliers International and now Gerdom Realty & Investment. David has a strong focus on redeveloping the City of Detroit, and has worked extensively in Midtown, Downtown and with local associations such as Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and Midtown Detroit, Inc.

  Ms. Vicki Gutowski
Ms. Vicki Gutowski

Vicki Gutowski graduated from University of Michigan with a BA in Economics in 2012. Vicki applies her experience in marketing and business to business sales to the company on a daily basis. As director of marketing and administration Vicki oversees the advertising regiment for the company’s listing database as well as the presentation material for tenant and buyer representation clientele on top of the day to day operations.

Mr. Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy earned his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College in 2014. He started his career in Real Estate thereafter with Gerdom Realty & Investment as a Real Estate Sales Associate. Michael is focusing on shopping center sales and leasing, and he assists the company with conducting market research throughout metro Detroit and creating client presentations. Michael has a strong background in restaurant operations and working with the general public and is using this experience along with his positive outlook to create meaningful relationships in the real estate community.
